347 is a pretty consistant collour i have found its a chalky collour and different to all the others. But at the end of the day it comes down to where you are fishing, all the collours do catch fish if you use them in the right conditions recomended for that particular collour. i.e your golds and light greens in dark dirty water and your natural collours in clean water.

hope fully "trento"? with this advice you might manage to get your first bream on a hardbody

I dont associate the number "307" with anything remotely to do with fishing.

If someone asked what the secret to catching a bream was - and someone else answered "307" - there are only three conclusions to be made

- they are either currently making money from a lure manufacturer or they hope to be in the future or they have listened to someone who is chasing the afore mentioned

A true lover of lures gets more excited by the structure that lures need to be thrown to - They salivate when they see a piece of wood diverting current. They devote minutes to discussing the way the current bounces off a bank and hits a snag.

They get "Wood" when they see "Wood"

And then they try to keep it in their pants.

p.s. - If colour was so important - everyone would have the exact same favourite colour. It would be the one defining characteristic that every "bream lurer" in that system would use over similar ground.

I made a point of catching every possible food source along the Nong with a variety of different traps. I assumed bream saw what I saw. They dont

According to my results on the same day - Freaken heaps will take a purple lure - even more will take a tiger pattern lure - and a few will take mercy on what ever junk I tie on

But on another day the roles are reversed - a Purple lure will take a dump on the tiger pattern. And a clear lure will smash em all

It has everything to do with the confidence of the angler that ties the lure on and how accurate he is. If he is getting first cast at the structure while his accuracy is on fire - BANG - colour doesnt mean sh1t

Nicely said YD,
Lure colour doesn't make a bit of difference to the fish but might for the angler, it is all about confidence.
