Stradic 2500FI are a great reel but if you can stretch the budget the Ci4 would make it a sweet combination.

The 2500 Ci4 matches well with the Jewel (2-5kg), balances nicelyl!!

I use the same rod to you. It will get bream and on the flats with the chance of a big flathead around I think it's a great all rounder. I actually like the stiffer action particularly when using flick baits when you have to generate all the motion from the rod tip.

I just bought a Stradic Ci4 1000 (thanks to advice from this forum) and I absolutely love it. Best fishing purchase I have made so far. My next buy will be the same reel in a 2500 size which I will team up with the Jewel 2-5 kilo and I will put the 1000 on a 1-3 kilo rod (probably the pflueger trion).
