Terrible, Im spewing.
HAHA, so you're kind of saying that the old exist was like Catherine Zeta Jones in an elegant evening gown, and the new exist is like Sarah Jessica Parker after being hit by a snow plough?

She would want to do more than feel for $1,000.00 especially considering her looks

bugger I was hoping it was a prototype or a gee up. Im sure heaps of people and aliens will like the new reels. I hope they dont do the same thing to a new steez, that would put me off a bit.

It's a shame that reel designs are looking more and more like some uni students art project, the flow the current exist has is amazing... simple... with just a bit of bling.

Bobby, I've already sent an Email to Daiwa australia asking if they next steez is like that/when is it out.

I think it will have the same rotor and body, lets hope the spool is closed and a bit more elegant.

Looks like a Caldia abit blinged up.I thought diawa would bring out the ducks nuts and make this somthing special.I guess it all comes to the bottom line. They have zaion and it is a great product but they could have finished it beter. The spool looks like a ballistic spool with holes so there is a weight saving. A Carbon fibre handle also would have been great.Titanium future metals. The color scheme looks need some attention. Its as if they got paint on the cheap and will use it across the board.
I hope future designs will be better.
Shimano Vanquish 700 odd us dollars.

being that its daiwa hope they bring out some ridiculous ize/rcs stuff to replace maybe the spool or so. cause the handle is very similar to the luvito in a way anyways so that nothing new by side the fact its being closer to the body for more control i presume.

Well that got beat with the ugly stick ...mind you it could be that new car look syndrome ... I wish with higher end reels you had a choice of handle length and knob type to suit your fishing style.
