Not sure why people worry about a thin bail arm though, especially on a bream reel.
The rods are all high modulous custom made by Stephen duff. They are the best and most suited to my style of fishing. Most of them cover alot of different lures alowing you to have less on the deck. Dizzy, Greg Flett and Nick Reay among many others use these

Cheers

The thin bail arm didnt turn me off. The quality of anything other than the stella turned me off. The Biomaster is directly under the Stella and its $400.00 and a average reel. By average I mean seems good but not perfect.

All the rest are Japan market and not AUs market.

The BioMaster had play in the handle.

Im happy with my decision.
So jealous Chris, that's one hell of a lineup.

Those Duffrods are top quality, wish I had the money to buy a few more, great rods.

Todd

That's what I'm talkin bout brother... Steez isn't cheap but value for money it wins for me. You must have read my mind, I almost said it but didn't because I thought you where set on changing. I'm gonna try a Stella next just for the fun of it and see how it compares.

What did you get yours for if you don't mind me asking? I have 2 currently and love them to bits. That's a quality set of combos...

Steez's are a hell of a lot cheaper than some other high end reels I love mine to death. More than my stella. Performance wise the stella poops all over the steez, but for some unexplainable reason, I still like the steez more

You would hope the Stella is better for the price. I'll probly get a 1000 size. I paid $900 for 2 Steez and it's the best thing I ever did.

Stuff the 1000 size man. shimano 1000's are disgraceful. They shouldn't exist at all. If you can get a jdm 2000 or just go the 2500.

I was only thinking the 1000 because of the rod I was gonna put it on. Will take that in mind, might just get another Steez...

I am paying alot more than you did for your two!!! did you get them in Australia new?

called a heap of shops and the best I could get for 5 was $600.00 each.
Someone did offer one at
$575.00 but the rest that needed to be ordered would have been $639.00 so I didnt go with them.

I will post some pics in show us your bling next week.

Chief, I wouldnt get a 1000 they are way too small, a 2500 will be fine with most rods.

Cheers
Chris
