'Wurth' rust off plus spray
oh god, i brought a can of 'wurth' rust off plus spray, man it is the best lubricante for ur reel!, i use daiwas, kasters, cappy, and and okuma, this stuff is unreal, i just took off my rotor so u can see ur bearing in ur reel, spray it on and work it in, for the sake of 1 nut and a quick spray it is sooo worth it. a normal cappy doesn't spin for that long and compared to nath's shimano stradic it is damn crap, some of this in the bearings and goes in my opinion just about the same as a shimano reel, and for a daiwa noticably longer and a hell of a lot smoother. i can't remeber how much i payed for it but it is defiently worth it. proectects ur reel from rust and lubricates. TWO big thumbs up

Hi Fish_man
I have been using it for about 5 months now and as you said it is great stuff. I am lucky enough to know a rep who works for Wurth and get the stuff for free.

Reel maintenance is something I avoid coz it delays time between replacement.
When I'm using my much abused stradic I occassionally get a cold chill and have to look over my shoulder for poltergeist. Those stradics just start reeling for no reason. And thats without lube. Full pain in the rear when under hand flicking under docks coz they fall down on top of your extended index finger when trying to cast |
