I am gonna chuck some spinners with my 7.9, but after its initial test run with topwaters I can tell it wont be the best for hard cranking. I am a slow reeler, just switched over to left hand, so the 7.9 complements my uncoordinated reeling nicely. The handle is quite nice too Keep us all updated on what you do with it, cork handles would look nice but I have been thinking of putting the small ball knobs on mine. Now that I have ball knobs on most of my daiwas I am hooked on them. I am keeping my J dream next to me and I look at it all the time, you will have one sexy reel.

cheers mate, only problem is the zillion feels so good on the megabass rod and looks nice as on it plus the power matches well also but the zillion looks a little weird on the heartland Z but feels pretty dam good on it, I might get a finesse megabass rod down the track and the steez will probably sit on that more and the zillion will sit on the mb cyclone not sure yet but as they are right now is fine.
