5/8 is a pretty good all round weight. Never met a colour that doesn't catch fish though purple white green and fluoro pinks are my go to colours

Murray River SpinnerBaits are made in Shepparton as well.

I use Wobbly spinnerbaits, made in Albury, sold at complete angler Masons tackle. they have an extra long blade arm that produces a heap of vibration which spinns the blades in a wide arc leaving a larger disturbance trail that the natives can hone in on. 1/2 oz and 5/8 get used mostly, colour is dependant on environment and water colour/clarity.

5/8 and 3/4 seem to be the most popular generally.
Colours, I think are more an angler confidence thing. The blades are the main attractant. Black isn't hugely popular but a lot of fish seem to get caught on it, popular colours are purples and reds by far. Heres mine: Edgecrusher Lures Last edited by Edgecrusher13; 07-10-2015 at 07:38 PM. |
