Hello everyone
Thanks for having me on the forum. I live in Nelson Vic on the beautiful Glenelg River in retirement mode. Have downsized recently to a 4.1 Polycraft which is ideal for river & estuary fishing. I enjoy reading the forum discussions & hope I will be able to contribute.
A doctor told me that for every hour you fish you add an hour to your life, if this is true I'm going to live forever!!! Tight Lines All Graeme |

Welcome mate!
I get across to your part of the world 7 or 8 times a year and would love to have it as my local! Been fishing well lately so hopefully you've been getting stuck into them! |

Thanks guys
I have a Suzuki 20hp F/I lean burn with power tilt & the Polycraft is set up with a side console. I am very happy with the outboard even though it's only a 20hp as it suits my type of fishing as at idle it is perfect for trolling livies when chasing mulloway & the max speed on the river is only 10kn.
The Polycraft is great, low maintenance & indestructible, best small boat I have had. The Glenelg river is well known for its Bream fishing as we have a couple of tournaments each year & numerous clubs have comps here all year round. The mouth was blocked over Easter but let go just after & dredged a very deep channel so the river has more tidal influence than we have seen for many years. Hopefully this will be good for fishing. |

Better late than never, but welcome Grazie.
Gotta say I am pretty envious of your situation and like JF&D has already mentioned, I too hope the doctor is right. As well as the fishing and serenity, the friendliness of the locals are a real attraction for my family and I. Gotta say I also envy the likes of TJ who can visit as regularly as they do. Enjoy your retirement.
