Basin is a largish volume of water depending where you fish normally.

There are quite a few boat ramps located all the way around so depending where you stay you shouldnt have to far to travel to launch your boat.

At this time of year all the ramps will be quite busy so just smile and enjoy
the scenery and have have happy thoughts.

cheers......Roy

Sussex Inlet has a wider range of accomodation options and the main ramp there is pretty good but I imagine it will be busy this time of year. As said, there are ramps scattered around the basin, Basin View is probably the most popular with a two wide ramp, a jetty, facilities and plenty of parking. Island point is hard, its long and shallow, I cant lauch my tinny from it with my mid sized wagon and could only juet launch withoug getting the back wheels wet when I had a Commodore. Sanctuary Pt ramp is 1 lane but okay, Erowal Bay is okay, 2 wide and deep enough but no jetty next to the ramp and Wrights Beach has a steep drop at the concrete, does have some beach next to the ramp but has very limited parking.

Roy, I must have been lucky, havnt had to wait at the ramp but have only been down a couple of times these holidays and launching at 5:30am helps beat the traffic
