squidgies gripe

The last few times I've purchased squidgie fish I've found the plastics twisted and unusable. Just got a pack of small size squidgie fish today and found only three out of the whole pack that I'd happily thread onto a jig head. This has happened a few times now. Maybe if they got their act together and used similar packaging to Z Man I might buy them again . As it is right now I've given up on them.

You can boil them for 30-60 seconds and let them 'dry' in their correct shape, but it's a pain. Squidgies obviously know there's an issue, they have used the clam style packaging (that z man, samaki, etc use) on their Mongrel plastics.

It has turned me off buying squidgies lately too.

Bent, ripped or whatever still take a squidgey over a ZMans...

Their formulation these days is much softer and I've found no issue wirh slight tail bending?

Squidgies quality control is shocking AF. There's always something wrong with it. Every packet has plastics that are different to the next. Sometimes, it's bent tails, sometimes the glitter is all wack, other times the same sized squidgies are different sized and thickness. Don't get me started over the million shades of colours that one particular colour model has...

But.. they work well and catch plenty of fish when the lures are in the correct form.

These are the colours you get out of one "bloodworm" packet...

So they know they have a problem but rather than withdraw the affected items from sale n replace with new stock they choose to just leave it out there and apologise.
Way to go Shimano!
Great way to look after your customers n attract new ones.

Pretty much...

Wouldn't expect any more from them tbh... Bring back proper Dunphy family control over the business like how the old man ran it and it'd come good. Rest his soul...

Yeh with all this - it still hasnt stopped me bringing the Bloodworms with me today for a after work session...

Great news from Squidgies. They're going to be bringing out new packaging soon and will be posting me out three packs to make up for my twisted ones.

There are about 100 packs of absolutely ragged out twisted packs at my local Anaconda...

Squidgies are the only placcy i haven't had any issues with in regards to being bent out of shape, colour variation though (in the black & gold) is a different story however! Maybe there's been some Quality control issues as of late?

I've found GULP really bad when it comes to warping/being bent out of shape.
