Spreading the love: B'n'B JDM Tackle Junkies

Hey fellas,
A few bits of good news.
1. I discovered excel...which means I can handle a heap of orders with too much translation/confusion.
2. I can now get 2nd items: this means a blast from the past with reels like the Ito 103, monoblocks, slant bridge rods etc.
BM was the first forum I invited as it was you guys that helped me are it happen.
I've started a post for townsvilles own forum.

The larger our group the easier to setup bulk buys and the better prices I can get as well as cheaper shipping. So for those who are own multiple forums please pass the word and invite fishos from other forums.

Yeh Andy, they are the KRs I think - Like most people who have tried them I'm a big fan of of the Ks but must admit to being a bit dubious about the micros.
I'm only a few minutes away from my local system and can happily say that after some very regular use with the new Kirisame over a couple of months now I'm stoked with the KRs. No wind knots, tip wraps or guide wraps and no noticeable dramas with the leader knots, running .04 PE.
IMO a big improvement over the single foots which were on the same earlier model Kirisame.

Cheers Paul

How do you rate the rod over all? How's the blank and the new reel seat?

No worries - Depending on what you want to do with it of course but I'd be very surprised if you were dissapointed. This is a beautifully engineered and finished rod and matched to something lightweight like a 2004 Exist it's probably the sweetest finesse outfit I have had the pleasure of useing.

Cheers Paul

Hi Adam, Yeh... as you can probably tell by my previous comments I rate this rod very highly. IMO the grip is a bit improvement on the previous model - excellent in the hand and much better contact with the blank.

As I mentioned I'm using a 2004 Exist with .04 PE on this one for absolute finesse work with light HBs in tandem with the Deep Throat for the bigger lures (running .06 on that one or straight through fluro).
I'm pretty much a fan of HBs and this time of year I'm fishing deeper with the Kirisame - mostly using sinking lures like Rigge flat 45s, tacklehouse buffets, D-contacts and small vibes like the Tetraworks Bivi.
Although the blank on the new Kirisame is still quite fast overall I recon this rod is much better suited to HBs than the previous model.

The finish on this rod is outstanding - possibly the best I've seen. All up I'm very happy with the build and performance of the Kirisame and along with the Deep Throat they are easily my main weapons of choice.

Cheers Paul
