Sunline siglon pe

Anyone used this stuff yet? Intrested to hear your thoughts, have a trip to shark bay comming up at the end of month and need to spool up some reels, used to use rhe siglon mono years ago and it was fantastic, also the price is on par with jbraid, looking at 30lb for casting and trolling

Sunline Siglon is my favorite leader and has been for a long time, I run it in 4,6,8,12 & 20lb. IMO nice and supple and easiest knot tying I have found. Only time I use different is using any top water lures and I use FC Rock as it is a bit stiffer, seems to work better in that situation.

Most possible why some batches are a little lacking...

Using the 8lb at the moment, its thin, long casting and having been buried in plenty of timber by some good EPs with no damage to the line i'd say it has above average abrasion resistance ... Early days yet but i like it.

My mate had 50lb j braid on his Saltist and found it to be terrible so decided to replace it with some 50lb Siglon PEx8. The j braid was better.

Only feedback i've seen was negative, two mates spooled up with 12lb i believe recently and both had multiple breakoffs at the rod tip and at the reel. Could just be a batch issue but it's put me off.
