Tassie

My wife and i are planning a trip to Tasmania, any advice on the best time of year to chase bream and also some advice on what would be some of the better small systems and\or lagoons.
Any help will be much appreciated

Hi Mr Perch,

There is loads of posts about Tassie in the archives.

The warmer months fish the best.

Most waterways from the Derwent up to Ansons fish well.

There is a couple of good guides worth booking a day with also.

Have a blast. Tassie is awesome for big black bream.

Decided to leave the boat at home ... an extra $1600 or more for a weeks holiday is just too steep.
We will be in tassie in late March and early April.
Thanks to those that have helped, more advice the better so keep it comming

Derwent will be firing then and is easy to fish land based. Waders are handy but not essential
