You could always cover your grips with the heat shrink like they use on surf rods.
Maybe not what your after but just a thought.

It would have to be the hermetic sealing stuff with the glue backing. Otherwise water and gunk gets in behind it and goes poo lol...

We sell a product its Rustoleum as a spray on tub liner, its rubberised and has a sparse aggregate in it which would be good for grip.

sitting in my boat flying along at 70km/hr sun is rising everything in life is beautiful, look across at my rod locker 5 beautiful eva black grips matching everything because they are black and black is best. Then i look at 1 god damn bastard wearing cork, sitting just smirking at me looking like an idiot.

Almost makes me want to change to baitcast gear where cork is far less common. Its because bass fisherman only use spin rods for 'finesse' applications and cork is synonymous with finesse. Thus we get alot of cork in spin rods.

some people would say its also arguably a better conductor of vibration, i have no idea about this i just know i hate the look of it.

Well i guess when your out there with mother nature enjoying all her beauty and admiring the scenery just think the cork fits in just fine. Its a natural product made by mother nature and doesnt need to be dressed up and altered its in its element.Where as the eva is man made and not natural and needs bling to dress it up to look half decent.Thats why the cork is smirking at you because it knows that it is cinderella and the eva is the evil step sisters.Hope this helps your ocd fears.

Slazmo for you i have placed a cork ring in a tin of danish oil.I will take it out in a few weeks and cut it in half to see the results of whether any of the oil has managed to impregnate the cork.Let you know the results.

cheers....Ray

However the higher powers dont seem to like it at the moment...
