On the boat I have no doubt that bream setups get it done, for land based I went with a 6-8kg 7.3M Shimano SP and a Shimano 4000 JDM Aceration going to run 15lb braid to 20-30lb leader. Actually bought it just this week, may be over kill but I have been busted off a few times from the bank. Can always add it to the snapper spread :-).

Picked up a 4000 biomaster FB too, was wondering what rod to pair it with for the same application and similar applications?

Thanks BQ101, that Nitro looks like it has it all going for it need to pick one up.

I was going to go the magnum but I personally found it a bit stiff for the application I wanted it for, I'd recommend you try and get your hands on one before ordering one.
