How to use these lures?

Hi guys

Just wondering how and where to use these little soft semi hard type lures, as in where and how to retrieve? They are approximately 35-40mm long.

Thanks

They look like walk the dog style lures.
Do they float or sink?

Sink, they have weight in them, and weigh 3g. Im not 100% but think they could be Atomic brand, i got them from a bargain bin at my local tackle shop. Very similar plastic to the Semi-hardz range anyway.

They're stick minnows:

Chuck them around structure like pontoons and pylons and they'll generally get smacked on the drop as they flutter to the bottom. If they hit bottom hop them like a plastic.

I don't use sticks all that much as I just can't help reaching for a micro vibe instead but these get a general thumbs up I think (along with tiemco's and shinkus).

Thanks mate, thought they were Atomic. Seems like I picked up a neat little lure. I thought they would be almost soft plastic in retrieve but always worried about snags when thinking about it. Might be good over sandy bottoms and things.

They are a dynamite lure.. As sloth said casting them into the Poontons and let them sink watching the line as they sink. I have also had great luck on them fishing rocky edges and undercuts.. Cast in tight to the bank and let them sink down.. Once they have sunk, and the line has stopped give them a few short lifts..
They will sink quicker than the Tiemco, Shinku lures, but are also more welcoming to rocks, given there rubbery texture.
