This kind of skulduggery got me thinking.......

My printer was telling me it was out of toner. But it was still spitting out perfect copies before the toner light started flashing.

So I just googled the issue.

Turns out the cartridge has 2 clear viewing port holes for the printer sensors to "guess" how much ink is left.

And guess what - the sensors usually err on the side of caution (By about 1000 pages).

A couple of squares of black duct tape (one on either side) fool the sensors so you can get those last 1000 pages.

Job done - now my printer is working again

As the old saying goes - "The bigger the tackle box - the worse the angler"

When you've got the fish dialed in like me - you dont need options - only spares

But the problem with using 50c pill boxes is - if you drop it on concrete - its going to burst open.

Well - that used to be the problem.

With my patented new system - the custom fit, spring loaded coat hanger cut off, means the box will only open when you want it to

Are you sick of the labels of your leader peeling off and you dont know what strength they are any more - Problem solved

Just scratch a few numbers in with the end of a screw driver -

While sticky labels and texta can be scratched off - you've got to try pretty hard to scratch off a scratch

P.s. Got another champagne cork pistol grip brewing
