Hello

Hey Breamers, after more than a 20 year hiatus my brother encouraged me to pick up a rod again and throw little plastic things at sticks, and let me tell you it's good to be back!

Things sure have advanced from the days of me hassling my dad to drive me to the river before dawn with my Howard processed rod and sigma 025 with 5lb mono! The bloke at the local takle shop thought I was mad or bullshitting or a bit of both when I said I was catching bream on scorpions, wish I could catch up with him now!

I caught some good fish back then, more soaking the prawn than on trout lures especially around East Perth before the EPRA redevelopment.

Anyway I'm currently fine tuning my tackle and sorting out a little runabout to fish mainly the swan and the rivers/estuaries around Denmark.

Looking forward to talking fish and sharing some of my Deep South adventures.

Cheers
Stormy

And here's a couple of my better catches from winter...
