But then I realised that was over kill. I'f you attach it to a heavy enough piece of wood - you can just chuck it anywhere without using those wooden chocks underneath.

As long as the weight of the vice is on the edge of what its resting on - its fine for my purposes

If that was all the innovating I got done in the last 48 that would have been fine. But there was another problem that needed fixing.

I've somehow become the guy that everyone wants to borrow a lighter from while sneaking out for a dart - not all those lighters come back.

So a phone cord - a couple of zip ties - some cotton and super glue and it should save me about a lighter a week

Another thing I'm known for is having a stash of pens - a lent pen is a lost pen - so I have to keep one stashed.

It was while ripping it out of the blue tack that another brainwave hit me....

I nearly lost a nail ripping it out and I was impressed by the bond. That got me thinking about other uses.

The jar looked cool as a testing vessle but didnt allow the top 2 lures to float to their full potential.

The dunk rip-off is an aggressive floater with its back clearly out of the tap water. And the strike pro floats but not so much

Introducing emergency sink putty.

These are the amounts required to achieve a slow sink with each lure in tap water.

Depening on the attitude you want the lure to have as it sinks, there are many ways to attach the tack

Also had a rethink of the knife holster for a bait board idea = too bulky and messy - went with a far more simple idea - havent done it to the board intended yet - but the prototype works a treat
