Thanks mate.
It's amazing how many people don't read the rules.
We may travel round the country but you still need to have the fish
in your bag at the end of each day to get the result.

Interesting dynamic in that event - a majority of the arena was closed off due to forecast strong winds (>20 knots - which never eventuated, but that's beside the point), which meant that a several of the gun 'bay' anglers failed to qualify for the Bribie final.

May be a blessing in disguise for the other qualifiers? My tip to win the Grand Final - Grayson Fong - didn't make it in. Happy and unhappy about that all at once.

Tournament fishing is about catching fish whatever the conditions and restrictions, so well done to those guys who figured out the bite in the estuary. There were several cases of guys in smaller tinnies being able to get into out of the way spots that yielded fish, and that's great to see.

Yeah the aoy bit made it very nerve wrecking (will send you the pyschiatrist bill Steve ) strange feeling knowing you have the winning bag and it being irrelevant to where somebody else finishes. Still to come second in the aoy was good since I hadn't even seen let alone fished 4 of the 5 waters. Bring on the gf can't wait. Congrats to Phil and Chris on their aoy placings.

No worrys,,not sure what venue we will get Albanys very handy because all the local lads are there but we might get Walpole (Flats fishing) or Blackwood river (dragging fish out of heavy cover) but i am sure you have done plenty of research anyhow,,

Nice fish from the weekend,,well done indeed,,

shorty... just like skull draging yellas out of oyster racks, but the grumpy old men did tell me how the bream like to strike the lures over there.
so part one of the learning curve is noted.

It was always going to be between Russ and Warren - I had nothing better than a 4th all year!

But I do hear that silver is the new gold....
