Just thought I'd add some of the things we've been doing to the Ranger. The shackle here holds the node down and puts less strain on the strap. You'll also see I've gone with the meatl rego carrier. Much easier and only 5 bucks.

Just wacked some straps on the Kota cable to spot it from flapping around too much. Really makes a difference when full speed.

Kota strap helps the head from moving around too much and takes the pressure of the mount and fixing areas.

Need somewhere to plug in the iPod, easy with these flush mount plugs. I've got mine in the glovebox which keeps things safe and dry.

Good straps for the rear spot it from bouncing around. This is a simple pull down style. Much easier than the ratchet straps.

Lastly, get yourself a good cover. It protects the boat and investment.

Next couple of pics are UV stabilised bags from Whitworths. One for utilities and one for general stuff near the console. Great to keep you hat etc when you're on the move.

I should start calling these Mullet moments, he just has so many of them.
This ones a ripper. You can get this foam matting for your bathroom from places like Baines, but I've found you can get it by the metre from Spotlight. Works out a bit cheaper and makes it easier if you want to cut lengths to size. This is a pic of one one of my storage lockers with the matting on the bottom. It stops things from sliding around and protects the glass finish.

Last one for this session. Get yourself one small basket from Red Dot, only a couple of bucks. Get some of the matting in the last pic and cut it to size then glue it to the bottom of the basket. Perfect to store your go to gear, sprays etc. The matting on the bottom stops it from moving around and you simply put in your locker when you move around. Wicked idea.

In addition to additional bungs, may be worth having the Selley's Aqua Putty on board. I've never used it myself on a hull but on the Instructions it says it's suitable for boats, burst plumbing pipes. I recently bought it to fix a metal panel on my patio and it works a treat. Going to try it on my cracked driveway. Best thing is it only costs $16 from Bunnings.

Love those bags bear, could you post up a link to them on the Whitworth site? I did a quick search but couldn't find them. Do you find the suction cups hold OK?
