Marine carpet suppliers

Guys as the thread headline says im looking for a good marine carpet supplier who will sell direct to the public.

Im looking for some decent "hook friendly" waterproof/mould proof carpet suitable to redo the decks on my bass boat. Not the cheap loop pile that they sell at bunnings and the like.

I did know of a supplier in sydney that does some top quality stuff but lost the link i had and cant re find it.

Cheers

I bought some from them a few months back, great service and quick freight.

I went for their Platinum 2 hookless, the same carpet that skeeter use in their boats

Out of interest Piranha, what was the cost per square metre. Will be looking to do my Nitro in the very near future also.
Also, was it easy enough to do yourself or am I better off just paying someone to do the job for me??

Its not hard Dan, nothing that 2 nitros parked side by side in the shed and a slab of coronas cant handle.

Hi Spanito, my memory aint what it used to be,,i think can't remember but will try to find the reciept and get back to you. it was a high price compared to others but good quality, I fitted it myself but only own a 3m poly tub so it wasn't a lot of carpet and was easy compared to a big bassboat, i'm just trying to fool my brain into thinking i'm in a skeeter

cheers

Just found the e-mail

it's $63.00+GST as of may 2013

2.13m wide

Can also be purchased with rubber backing but probably cost extra?

I delt with a guy called Paul Madden, he was very good to deal with

Hey Squid, have u herd of a product called C-deck not sure if it's spelt that way, amazing product the boys at enlightened boating use it!
I saw it on some really top end ski boats at the boat show! Just a thought for a different product!
