Sebile Ghost Walker in yellow for top water.

Hurricane Twitch 66 in laser gar for top water when the sun is just starting to hit the water. I found the twitch 66 extended my top water fishing by about 30 min on a sunny day. IMHO 30 min of top water > whole day subsurface fishing

Pontoon 21 Crackjack 38mm SR in R60 for shallow.

Pontoon 21 Greedy Guts 44mm MDR in 417 for medium depth

lastly a vibe any vibe for deeper waters.

covers all depths would probaby work on color variations next to suite all light/water conditions.

Are you lubricating the knots?
What knots are you tying?
I used the have these problems but I have learnt new knots and it went awAy

I've lost quite a few lures and yet to get a bream, I want to go back to Queensland, I have a spot I reckon I could pull bucketloads out of considering I've pulled bucketloads out.

Buy your braid from japan mate. 3lb power pro is ok but for the same money as 3lb power pro in aus you can go on to plat.com and get duel hardcore x8 8 strand In pe0.8. 8 strand is sexy. Braid in australia is a rip off.

Ps 3lb power pro has a real breaking strain of over 10lb. Try to break it in your hands. Then try to break 3lb leader or mono in your hands :/

It's the stats for two lures. A shallow runner (SR) and a deep runner (DR). Weight in grams. Type (one of floating, suspending, sinking). Suspending means when paused in the water column it should stay where it is - not float up nor sink down. Depth is it's max diving depth in metres.

Most lures come in two or three versions based on the depth they run. Generally to alter the depth the manufacturer changes the size/length of the bib and also the weight of the lure. Bigger the bib the deeper it goes.

It's a guide though - depending on salinity of where you fish it's ability to suspend may differ. Most blokes tune for their locations by adding or removing weight via changing hooks, split-rings or by using sticky weight or tape.

Depth again varies on technique and to a degree location ie fishing from height or with a high rod tip will make a lure run shallower than designed.

As a rule I tend to buy deep or mid divers as I can always make a deep runner run shallower using a high stick. I can't make a shallow run deeper and keep it as a suspender. If I had the cash I'd buy a shallow, mid and deep. All depends where you fish of course

no front treble is used by many especially when casting (rather than tea bagging), snaps should be used with blades

I'd say sunline super pe in 8lb would be a good step up from power pro in quality and smoothness and it's not too expensive.
