What is HDR. have seen a few pics where people say they use it.
I love the way it looks almost painted.

I was just going to ask what is the technique behind hdr shots. They look bloody cool

Ahh that makes sense.

So im guessing you would have to use a tripod in oder to keep the pics the same ?

So i would be near imposible to replicate this look on a fish as it would be to hard to keep the fish in the same spot.

not exactly mate.

You can replicate the HDR with some high end point and shoot cameras. It doesnt give you the same impact that a DSLR would, but you can get some pretty sick shots in the right conditions. Then do some post editing and they can look really good. Ill try do a few on a fish soon and see how it goes

you can do it in photoshop CS5 with 1 shot but it does not come out as good as say 6 shots at different exposures

A few favorites of my wifes work!

Top one (fishing Jiderbyne many years ago) is a scan of a slide so not great quality here but the colour in the original slide is awsome!

Second one is Liffy falls in TAS

Third one is Quamby Bluff in winter snow TAS

Fourth one is Bridelstow (spelling) lavender farm TAS

Fifth one is Quamby Bluff in summer TAS

Cheers
Steersy
