Usually start with about 4m, but it gets shorter as lures get changed.
Usually tie on a new leader once it gets under about 2m.

10m or so leader length.. has the advantage of fluro straight through at times but also the versatility of braid after the fluro is used up.

I know knots can be slim and what not but do the experiment of how many times the tag end off your knot picks up loops of braid on your spool when its on there... Tangles piss me off no end.

Seen bream caught with 30cm of leader and seen bream caught on flouro straight through. If they are hungry, fish will eat no matter what leader length.
+1 normally 1.5m of leader unless its super ultra ridiculously clear
