If they say rated up to 7kg - it may mean the actual max drag is 5.5kg - and if you actually run your drag anywhere near that level - it will wear out very quickly. Last edited by yellow door 1; 25-03-2018 at 01:52 AM. |

I just knew it would be worth waiting for.....Such depth in the review has required years of experience and all the appropriate technical qualifications.

I'm not sure who this Alan Hawk fella is but if he's getting mentioned in the same breath as me, he might be worth checking out

Just had a look at that Allan Hawks reviews - geez he bangs on a bit.
Heres what you need to know about the Exceller 2500 Works like any other 2500 reel - but one click of the drag adds more drag than other reels. Job done And heres what the drag sounds like under varying stages of distress Last edited by yellow door 1; 04-04-2019 at 06:37 AM. |

Just brought a Freams 6000. I was looking at the Stradic but a mate at the ship gave me a hell of a price for the freams. Fingers crossed it lasts longer than the Quantum Smoke Inshore50 it’s replacing (2 years & 3 months)
