We're more than happy to have stores from any state sponsor the comp forums. They just need to get in contact with us.

Just to let everyone know that I have found the setting for the min character limit in a postit was set to 10, and removed it. Annoying thing any way.

Thanks,

Thanks to Dave Press for this one. I have now changed the Home page as well as the Forum Home page so that clicking on the Forum or Home link does not open up a new window. Hope that makes surfing the site much easier.

Thanks,

Sweet, the one thing that was bugging me about the new site was the extra window opening. Just a small thing but a much better way of doing it.

Cheers, Dror

Thanks Bear and Dave. It's really annoying when links open new windows like that I appreciate the change.

Well, we're not that far off the end of another year and we've had many changes in 2008. I'd personally like to thank all of the sponsors and members of BreamMaster for their efforts and loyalty that has seen us continue to grow.

With that in mind though, it's never a good thing to sit back and let things ride, so if you have any ideas for 2009 post them up and we'll see where it takes us.

New Forum

Bear, I have a suggestion for a new Forum under Bream Lures regarding any mods to factory lures (tweeking), scratch built ( home made lures) ,hobby cast replicas etc.
This section could involve members posting current projects or any questions relating to snags with thier current project.

Top work on a great site...!

Regards Hillster

Gday Bear,
I use the active threads page as my home page. It opens on the "current" page and only has a more option to progress to the next page in which you will open page 1 which is largely a repeat of the "current" bar the last two or three threads. could poss open on page 1 to save opening extra page. Hope this makes sense

Hillster, I think this is a good idea for a sticky thread, but adding another forum I think would start to make things hard to find and manage. If someone wants to start the thread I'm happy to make it sticky.

Pisc, not quite sure what you mean. When you hit more it opens the max list for the first page then gives you more pages at the bottom.

Sorry, I see what you mean. Increase the max number of threads you see in Active List See what I can do.

Just to clarify Bear,
When I hit "more" (the only option) page 1 appears which is largely a repeat of the same page. Instead of opening on the page with only the "more" option just open in page 1 with the rest of the pages available in the selection panel (Which is the case when you hit the more button anyway).
Not a really big issue only get annoying with slow internet having to open extra page.
