Need helots second reel please?

Hi,
I am looking for some help in setting up my second reel. It is a shimano sustain 1000fg, paired up with a 2-4kg rod, mainly for estuary species. I need help in deciding what line to spool it with!

The thing is, I already have a bream outfit (biomaster 1000fb, 2-4kg rod, spooled with 3.3lb fireline/4lb leader and 4lb fluoro straight through)

Thanks!

Depends really on what sort of fishing you do.
Like if you fish oyster racks or around snags you could well do with some heavier braid.
You may like braid on 1 setup and straight through flourocarbon on the other. That way you don't have to keep rerigging every time you want to swap.
Just get out there and keep fishing, sooner or later you'll know what you want.

I'd be chucking some 3-4LB Fireline on, or some 6-8LB Super PE. I like using braid for most applications except when the bream are spooky in which case I use 3LB Sunline Sniper. Works great, 3-4LB fireline is definatly up there with the best braids on the market. Personally, I have a spare spool for every reel I own, one will contain braid and one will contain Fluro/Mono. Depending on the size of the reel and type of fishing.
