Its been a slow week on the boat but managed to get stuck in tonight after dinner with my wife
bottom plates are glassed, i hope to get the topside plates done on sunday night as we are busy tomorrow. Pretty happy with how its come up so far, will have a quick inspection in the morning

I get tooooo hot in things like that... I just wear old work pants and an old long sleeved hi vis work shirt and disposable gloves. And the sanders are connected to the vacuum which sorts out most issues

Back in the day I used to make a lot of surfboards. Not as much sanding as you have, but eventually you do build up an immunity against the stuff.

spent a couple of hours on friday night with Dad working out how we were going to do the chines and strakes... Took our time with the first one in order to get them all done right.

got the rest in after refining our methods a bit... pretty happy with the outcome.
We start off my spot welding them in with hot glue then glue them up properly with the proper glue once happy with how they are sitting. i will be filling them this week and then sand and glass them in.
