Tough comp! Things look like they've gone downhill at Walpole.

Wow hard comp indeed. Interesting to see the usual Walpole hotshots seemed to struggle this time around, must have been some really hard fishing. Well done to the Owen's!

Looks like the killers and grillers have had an impact on what was once a fantastic system. Albany will be next. imo.

Cheers Craig and the tournament sponsors in organising the event. The fishing was very tough although the weekend was very enjoyable on a social aspect. Big thanks for everyone who was part of it this weekend.

Thanks again to Craig for organise such a great comp and to Damaki for supplying such a large quantity of product. Thanks also to the other sponsors for supplying product and prizes. It was also great to see such a large field of competitors for a comp well out of Perth. Well done to all the competitors who managed to catch fish as it was a tough two days. Looking forward too Mandurah.

Cheers
Tim

Super effort to all 37 teams for making it to Walpole.

Congrats to Shano and Steve for taking out the event.

Great fishing from Peter and Oliver for second.

Can't forget Breams Nightmare, the third team to pull a bag on day 2. Bernie's looking good for TOY. Tied with Gladiator. Will be a close battle this year.

Thanks Craig and all sponsors as always.

Yes a very tuff weekend and I enjoyed the challenge and hope one day to fish another Classic event.

But guys don't rite the Pole off as believe it or not two long term mates of mine waded Coal mine early Sat morning and did very well with over 10 fish over 30cm including a 43cm. The fish are there it is just a lot harder to get them and the weekends weather condition did not help the shallow water spots.

Craig you are an absolute legend mate, what a great weekend away in an unreal part of the state, sure the Breaming wasn't at its best but that just helped me realize how much I love everything else about these weekends. The pub sure as heck didn't know what hit them when we all rocked up to be fed and watered

There are plenty of bream there still muzz, it was so clear you could see the cheeky buggers everywhere, and plenty of horses too, but as our 1 legal fish showed for two days of throwing everything at them they just did not want a bar of our offerings. I mean the nerve dont they know how much my lures cost me

Well done to the Gladiators in a tinny,a lot of really good anglers struggled to find fish in the same area. Awesome effort to the place getters and everyone else who came down and made it such a great weekend away.

Cheers
Dion

Couldn't agree more Dion. Not only did Craig run another great comp but walpole is an amazing place. Fishing was hard but I want to go back already.

We were cruising up deep river and I was just looking out and around enjoying the scenery. Couldn't believe how quite it was out there and all you could hear was the breeze in the tree's.
