the decoy ones (round snap??) are good, size #0 is probably the best size if you can open them, personally i cant so i use size #1.

Have found the egi clips from breadon work well, also you don't have to 'unclip' them- they have a slide on/off system. Used to use the decoy ones till I found these!

Have been using fly snaps and they work great.

I'm interested in trying these too:

Ben K how do you find the #1 in realtion to changing the action or sink rate of the lures you are using them on. I need to get some for an upcoming trip and was planning to use some small long nose pliers to opne and close them or is that a recipe for disaster? Are you using pliers or your fingers?

just buy a TT switchblade, a little one, they have mad little snaps on them that i think have a smaller profile than most ones you can buy IMO

I use #00. They don't affect a lures sink/float rate that much, but can turn a suspending lure in to a slow sinker. They're a little tricky to open though, even with my small fingers.

they can change the sink rate if the lure is suspending, but if you take off the split ring at the front it should be ok.
dont use pliers to open them up, i tried it with the #0 and #00 as i couldnt open them with my fingers, and they just bend too easy.
