lure snaps on sp's

how ya doin fisho's?

just wondering if lure snaps are the go with sp's or should i just tie a knot onto the head of the jig. any advice will be great.

Each to their own, but i use them on all my lures.

The lure snap would probably give it better action too instead of just doing a standard knot to the sp jig head. I might try it now haha

I have the same as iceman but 00, they are relatively cheap and work well with plastics but can be annoying with cold hands

depends on the sp - if it's got a natural action and will swim well with a straight retrieve then i'll use a snap - if the action comes from the angler imparting action through rod tip movement etc then i'll tie a knot

agree, 90% of the time i fish a grub style lures so its clips all the way. no clips for flickbaits.
