I use knots,I like the idea of snaps except when i've tried them i've found them more of a pain than they are worth on the bream gear.I remove most split rings so getting the decoys etc to fit through the eye of the lure especially when they are counter sunk is too much trouble.
I have also tried the fly hooks but they are no good on stick baits or twitched and paused retrieves.....the lures fall off.
