The body itself is Zaion, so it is fully saltwater safe. The bearings, some of them or all of them are just stainless steel, not CRBB's, but it should be fine for saltwater use as long as you maintain it well.

Plat don't seem to have it, so maybe they are discontinued. However, Digitaka have it:

i have the presso 1503, the salt water is pretty harsh but oiling after every decent trip keeps it nice and smooth and in top shape and a few services i can hear noises coming from it, i'v now turned it into my bass reel

For what i understand the presso impiri is a completely different reel from the presso. The presso is meant to be a higher end reel.

I have a 1003 presso. Nice little reel. I use mine for salt water fishing all the time. Just wipe it down with a damp cloth after every fish and lube it up!

the presso 1003 is a jap model, dont think you can get it in aust. Order on line.

The kirisame is to good a rod for the presso (and to small). I would put a 2004 to 2500 exist/steez on it. Or a Stalla 2000FE..... mmmmmm stella
