More expensive "high end" braids are thinner than bargain bin crap of an equivalent breaking strain, so you're usually better off just going with a thicker expensive braid than cheap stuff. I don't think the term "abrasion resistance" belongs anywhere near the list of properties that braided lines have in any case. doesn't matter if you're running 4lb or 12lb, if a good bream gets you wrapped in an oyster rack you're done.
