And while the long liners and hand liners are taking care of the adult snapper population.

Run hauling nets through the grass beds - rip them up - while simultaneously killing Juveniles that end up getting thrown back dead.

Its a pretty comprehensive system:eek:

Yeah I spose you could call an 87% decrease over the last 5 years 'depleted'

This graph shows a timeline of when the pros stopped flogging sg/wc and moved their efforts over to Gulf St Vincent (GSV) - but the 87% decrease could just be a coincidence;)
