Yeah feels good to know the Fisheries are responding to calls in that area.

Imagine how many undersized pinkies get taken in a week, in this area alone

Every time we walk past the seafood department in our local supermarket both of us cringe and are very saddened looking at the Snapper for sale most of which are undersized and you would not need to measure them to know that. Different states have different size and bag limits but really a Snapper less than 25 cm is criminal in any fisho,s book. I believe they get around the rules by importing some from NZ but gees it makes you sick just looking at them.
Hope these anglers ( and i use that term loosely) get the full treatment that the law can provide. :mad:

I don't think commercial net fisherman are subject to minimum length like recs are, possibly because it's no point throwing back dead undersize fish that have been caught in nets.
